Cova de les Calaveresis an impressive stalactite cave in Benidoleig near Alicante.
The 900-metre-long cave owes its name to the discovery of twelve human skeletons in the 18th century.
Visitors can explore the walkable part of the cave with its huge rock domes, stalactites, stalagmites and fossil remains.
The Cova was already inhabited by humans over 100,000 years ago and is now one of the most exciting natural and cultural sites in the Marina Alta.
